Utah Trip

As you probably all know, my parents moved from Boise to Utah the same weekend we moved to Pocatello. It was a crazy moving party haha. But over Labor Day weekend we drove down to their temporary apartment in Lehi to hang out for Hayley's birthday and some good fun. 

Hayley decided she wanted to hike Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon and we were all down, so off we went. Booker pretty much walked the entire thing by himself and loved it! He wasn't satisfied once we got up closer to the falls and wanted to hike further. I think we're going to have to find some little hikes around Pocatello now :) 

 After the hike we went to a park to play and eat our picnic lunch. There was this giant bumpy slide that Booker loved even though it pretty much sent him flying. The first picture cracks me up!!! When you zoom in he looks like an old man!

 We also thought it would be funny to put him into Hayley's body pillow pillowcase :) he was shuffling around in it for a while. 

 On Monday we got to go to the Ogden Temple open house with the family and some extended family. It was such a great experience and seeing Booker's face as we went through. He found every Jesus picture and loved the light fixtures haha.

While we were waiting outside, we pointed out Moroni on the steeple. His first response was, "That's not Moroni, that's the Golden Boo Boo!!" He was very adamant about it too. 

(For those of you who don't know, the Golden Boo Boo is a golden chicken statue from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show haha!)

 It was a good weekend :) It's weird that my parents aren't in Boise anymore but I think Utah will be good for them and they're still close! We are now pretty much exactly halfway between Boise and Utah and it's only about 3 hours either way to see all of the family :) I think we lucked out!
