Floating the Boise

Last weekend, Kelsey, Hayley, Troy and I decided we wanted to float the Boise River. Hayley, Troy, and I hadn't floated since high school and Kelsey had never, so we figured it had to be done! 

We borrowed Lonnie's 3 person raft and then rented a tube, that we took turns in. 

I remember the "rapids" being a lot bigger than they really were and in reality they were probably never big in the first place haha. 

We had a lot of fun floating and only had one minor crash into a bridge pylon, but we bounced off of it and continued on our way. That's what happens when you don't pay attention to where you are headed haha. We did get separated from Kelsey while she was in the tube for a little bit but she eventually caught back up to us.

Afterwards we got milkshakes and food at Westside Drive In (a first for Troy and I). It was delicious and a great way to end the afternoon. 

Luckily, and surprisingly, no one got sunburnt and we all survived the Boise River!
