So most of these I did a while ago, but I couldn't post them because they were all gifts. Now that they have all been gifted, I can share about them, and about how proud I am of how they turned out :)
First, I made this mug for my beautiful best friend Holly, just because. I got to see her in Portland, and I wanted to give her something. So fun and I had all the stuff at home. My drawing of Washington State is kinda crazy haha but it works. Right?
Second, Holly's sister Katie got married in Portland, which is how I got to see Holly so thank you Katie :), and I decided to make her some cute magnets for a dry-erase board. I got one for our wedding and I love it still! I had a lot of fun putting together the magnets and ended up with a lot more than I was expecting because I just kept making!
Third, this project was for my awesome sister Hayley and her graduation from BYU-I. The Sharpie mugs were so fun and I wanted to do more so I went with some Sharpie coasters :)

Hayley as acquired a nickname over the years… Hank. My mom came up with it because whenever Hayley gets sick and loses her voice she sounds like a man, so naturally she needed a man's name and Hank just fit :)
I love how they all turned out! Especially Harry Potter!! He's so cute :)
Here are the coasters I mentioned. I did places of significance to Hayley. Idaho- lived her most of of her life and graduated from BYU-I, Kansas- where she was born (it should be before Idaho in the picture), Ireland- she did study abroad there and just LOVES it so of course, and Hawaii- she lived there and worked there for a while and now claims it is a part of her haha.
And fourth, this one is more of a Booker project :)
I had a pair of old canvases that Troy and I had randomly painted with some friends in Logan a long time ago. My parents had some paint samples that had primer in them they didn't need. So I took the samples with primer and painted over the two canvases. The first one I used for my map Where It All Began wall hanging and the second I let B paint :)
I taped it off with some blue painters tape, then gave him a brush and let him go to town. I made him wear an old shirt my mom gave me to work out in and it has now officially become his painting shirt.
Booker had so much fun! He keeps asking me for "more paintings for me to make mommy."
This is a new thing: when he concentrates really hard or is trying to figure something out, he puckers out his lips in a kissy face. It's the cutest thing ever!
So this is what it looked like when he was done painting (well he could have probably painted forever, he was having so much fun).
And then I peeled off the tape and whoot whoot it's awesome! It goes perfectly with his new big boy bedspread and the new decor I got for his new big boy room :)
Guys, seriously, crafting and stuff is AWESOME! I'm kind of obsessed haha.
