Happy Easter!

Easter was pretty chill this year. 

But of course I had some cute crafty decor :)

So easy! I just "stole" a ton of paint sample cards and cut out little bunnies then taped them to a string.  I even made Booker a few that he could carry around which he thought was pretty cool.

We hid some plastic eggs filled with candy for Booker Sunday morning, but that was the extent of the Easter Bunny this year. I guess he did get an Easter book.

Once Booker figured out how the hiding and finding eggs worked, he wanted us to hide them over and over again. He had 8 Easter egg hunts Sunday morning and would have had more if he could. 

After church we had dinner with the Lewis' and let the cousins play. After dinner we headed to the Blacker's for more dessert. It's nice having both families here so we can see everyone at the holidays. 

I also made sure we took a family picture! I set up my camera on the counter and it turned out really good. 

Although Easter was low key this year, it's nice to have a reason to remember Christ and everything he has done for us. As Booker gets older I know Easter will turned become more "exciting" but I hope I can teach him the real meaning of the holiday.
