Crafty Fool

Lately I have been in a crafting frenzy I feel like! I just want to do all sorts of projects and do them all now! 

My first project was changing our lamps in our bedroom to match our new bedding. I found a tutorial on Pinterest showing how to cover existing lamps with women's tights. So, I tried it and it worked! Perfect because I found some grey tights at Target on sale for like $2 and they were the right color.

I think they match perfectly :) So excited about it!

My next project was transitioning from the diaper bag to a purse! It's a big step! I realized one day that there was more stuff of mine in the diaper bag than of his, so I figured it was time. 

But B still wears diapers so I have to continue to carry a few, with some wipes. I decided to make these little pouches to hold some Booker things in my new purse. They took me three times longer than the girl's tutorial said they took her, but they are finished and adorable! 

My latest project was more sentimental :)

I used an old canvas I had painted forever ago, and repainted it with some left over sample paint my parents had. It was perfect because it had primer in it and covered my previous painting really well. 

It really didn't matter that I painted it though haha, because I just covered it with a map of Boise anyway! 

So I mod podged the map onto the canvas and stenciled the words "Where it all began" next to Boise. Really simple and cute and cheap. I like it :)

Now I'm on the hunt for my next project. I have a ton in mind but no place to put them or not enough money for all the materials haha. I guess we'll see….
