Christmas!
This year was a lot of fun for Christmas. Booker really started to understand more about the holiday and was getting excited about things. He loved the tree which he calls a "big tree" and Santa Claus. He also loves snowmen and since I have a bunch of snowmen decor, he would count all of them around the house.
I do admit we went a little overboard on presents for B this year, but it's just too fun buying stuff and then seeing his little face when he opens the stuff!
This year was also a little bit of a bummer too, because Booker had a cold and was kind of miserable. He was still excited about most stuff but he wasn't his usual, 100%.
But here are some pics of the day...
Santa brought Booker a train table and it's pretty intense! It was the first thing he saw when he came out and all he could say was , "Wow!" Super cute and I'm bummed I didn't get it on camera. I wasn't thinking!
Standing in awe looking at his trains.
Santa also left some hot wheels on the tree for Booker :)
Tired but happy :)
Uncle Sam and Aunt Shantay gave B this awesome circus tent! It's awesome and he really likes sitting in there. We now keep all of his stuffed animals in it and he'll go in and snuggle them.
Since Troy got to go to the Green Day show and he also got an Xbox, his Christmas was a little different. I decided to go with his favorite team, BSU, and get him bathroom decor haha. He got a shower curtain, trash can, and shower curtain rings. All Boise State! It's pretty cool. Now we need to find matching rugs and towels to complete the look.
Troy out did himself again! First the Coach bag and now an iPad mini! He spoils me way too much!
B loves school buses so of course we found one :)
Eating pancakes in his new tent. Troy and I can fit in there with him if we want, it's that big!
Kelsey got him a cute mini moose pillow pet :) I might love it more than he does haha
Hayley found him a snowman pez dispenser since he loves snowmen. He carries it around all the time!
Of course Grammy and Grampy spoiled him! Along with Grandma and Grandpa :) He is loved for sure!
One of the high lights of the day was when Kelsey and Hayley opened their presents from Troy and me. My mom and I had secretly bought us all tickets to the One Direction concert in Pasadena, California in September! Kelsey had been wanting to go, but when the tickets went on sale she was out of town for State Drama Competition. She put us in charge of getting the tickets, so we decided to tell her we didn't. She was upset but eventually came to terms about not going. Troy teased her all month about her not getting to go, so it made it even better when Christmas came. We kept Hayley in the dark as well just for fun :) So you can imagine their surprise when they opened the scarves I made them and inside were tickets to 1D! Kelsey seriously went into shock and started screaming so loud it freaked Booker out! It was awesome :)
Christmas evening we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house for a delicious dinner and some family time. We are so blessed to be able to live so close to everyone! It's so fun being able to see people when we want to!
Oh and here is the new, and Troy would say improved, bathroom! :)
