It is but a moment....

So a few things...
1. Booker and I have had colds/coughs for three weeks now and it's miserable.
2. I think we have begun the Terrible Two's because Booker has been beastie even without being sick.
3. It's amazing how fast time is flying!
Here are a few pics and some stories to match :)
Booker found these in Grammy's pantry and decided that these are what he wanted for afternoon snack. Eh, it could have been worse haha.
Although we've been sick, we couldn't stay cooped up any longer! Booker and I went to the park for a half hour and got some much needed fresh air. It was a fight getting him to leave though.
Last Saturday I came out of our room to find these two like this, Daddy passed out and B watching Paw Patrol :)
This little magnet board, that we got at our wedding, has become a new favorite of Booker's. I finally found those little magnet letters and numbers and he stays busy for quite awhile. Phew!
So like I said, I think we've already begun the Terrible Two's. He has a REALLY hard time listening to us and he has started showing deliberately disobeying.
We have been using the count-to-three method, where if I get to three he either gets something taken away for the day or he has to sit in time out. The other day I began counting to three because he wouldn't come to me and lay down to have his diaper changed. I started counting and after I said One, Booker looked at me, COVERED his ears, and walked away! Oh it was maddening but also somewhat amusing I must say. What a little stinker!
I guess I need a lesson in patience because he sure is testing mine lately. Also it's so hard to discipline the naughty kid when he's giving me the cutest faces! He totally knows what he's doing :)
One last story for the day:
We were looking out the window, pointing out trees, bushes, leaves and whatever else we could see. B started repeating a word over and over that sounded like the F-word (he said it like "Fock"). For the longest time I couldn't figure out what he meant, and what he could be talking about that would sound like that word! Finally he got frustrated that I didn't understand him and said, "Fock of bits (birds)." It then hit me that Fock = Flock and he must have remembered it from a show that had a flock of geese in it. I asked him if he meant flock and I got a big smile on his face and said YES! Like finally mom you get it! Geez! :)
Funniest/best/most-entertaining word he's said yet!!
Hope you had a laugh!
