The Farmstead

I've been wanting to take Booker to the pumpkin patch this month, so last Saturday we decided to go to The Farmstead. This place has hay rides, pumpkin patches, play grounds, a petting zoo, a corn maze, little cow train rides, a bouncy pillow thing, and a lot more. The weather was perfect so we loaded up, got our wrist bands, and let Booker run wild. He LOVED it!
First we hit up the Bouncy Pillow or whatever it's called. Pretty much it's a giant, heavy duty tarp that's blown up and bouncy. Booker called it the tramp and had a blast walking, climbing, and bouncing all over it, even though he was getting rocked most of the time from the bounces of the bigger kids.
Next, we took a tracker hay ride to the pumpkin patch. B thought the tractor was pretty cool and had fun standing on the hay bales.
Once at the pumpkin patch we let him loose to see where he would go. He headed straight to this big green and orange pumpkin and tried to pick it up. When he realized he couldn't carry it, he moved on :)
 Surrounded by "pupkims!!!"
 My handsome boys :)
We finally picked one and Booker insisted that mommy carry him and his "bic pupkim."
Then it was daddy's turn :)
Once we got back from the pumpkin patch, the tractor driver asked if B wanted to sit on the tractor. Booker said yes but then was too scared once Troy set in up there. This was as close as he got to sitting.
They also had this adorable cow train made out of barrels and pulled by a tractor. B loved it and kept mooing and pointing to the tractor ("bic truck") and the school bus that was sitting a little ways off. He LOVES big trucks and school buses right now.
I love this picture even though it's a little blurry. And the little girl in front of us could be my daughter!!! haha
Booker wanted to go again so Troy got to go too!!!
We didn't know how Booker would do in the big corn maze, he was already getting tired, so luckily they had a little hay bale maze that was the perfect size for him to run around in. As soon as we set him down, he took off running!
Haha this was something! I had to hold him up and to the side so he could get his face through while I stuck my face through! Pretty good!
Of course he loved the playground with the slides!
I don't know why this one ended up down here but I'm not moving it haha.
Booker on the hay ride taking in the scene.
Giant rocking chair! Booker didn't care to sit on it. He just wanted to get down.
Ok the next few are from the hay ride and pumpkin patch. Too lazy to move them up :)
 Picking out our pumpkin.
Cute little wagon to pull pumpkins (and Bookers) around in :) We also found a tiny little pumpkin that Booker has now added to his "lillull pupkims" he already has at home.
We had so much fun watching Booker have fun. This place was the perfect place to go hang out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather and festivities. We will most likely be going to The Farmstead again next year!
