BOOKER IS 18 MONTHS!!

Ok so I know I'm the crazy mom that takes a billion pics of her kid, but WHO CARES!!! He's too darn cute not too!

I can't believe he's 18 months now! He's a little boy not a baby anymore and he reminds me of that every day :)

He's always doing something new and impressing me by how smart he is. He has such a goofy little personality and is such a sweet, kind, funny, intelligent, particular, wants-to-be-independent, handsome little man and I thank Heavenly Father every day for sending him to me.

I am truly blessed!

Booker now takes only one nap a day and it's usually a really long one in the early afternoon. He still uses his bink but we've cut them down to nap time and bed time and there are only 3 left!! They somehow just keep magically disappearing??? :)

He loves to read books, play with his cars and track, play legos, line things up, climb on things, and rearrange the refrigerator items. We find him in the fridge all the time!

He loves a new show called Paw Patrol, about little puppies that save the day, and also Bubble Guppies, along with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse of course.

He says a lot of words and we can usually understand anything he wants us to know. He says a few sentences and usually says something new everyday.

He can count to 4 all by himself then he usually gets stuck on 4 which sounds more like "Soar." He has counted to 8 all by himself but we can't get him to do it again haha.

He knows triangle, square, circle, and star, which is his favorite. He is starting to learn trapezoid which is impressive because I couldn't even remember what it was!

He knows the color blue the best and everything is blue when we ask him. He knows how to say all of the colors but I think blue is the easiest and his favorite. He does know that the black legos are black and will correctly name them, but when we ask him what color a different black object is he says it's blue haha.

He loves to sing songs, especially 5 Little Monkeys, I Have a Tiny Turtle, Hokie Pokie, Wheels on the Bus, and Popcorn Popping.

He likes to look at our pictures of the temples and calls them "Pepples" and this usually starts the game of walking around the house naming the objects or people in all our pictures.

He likes to play hide-n-seek and stop-and-go.

He knows when he's being naughty and thinks he can get away with anything by giving kisses or being cheesy. Sometimes it works too :)

He's always doing something silly and he cracks me up all the time.

His favorite food right now is hotdogs, fruit snacks, melons, teddy grahams, ketchup (he eats it by the spoonful) and yogurt. He can even feed himself with a fork and spoon! So big!

He likes to be very independent but likes to cuddle a lot more too.

This is one of his favorite things to do when we leave the house. It takes at least 5 minutes before he's ready to actually go down stairs! Such a daredevil.

Kelsey likes to put her clothes on Booker. I don't think he minds though :)

This was the first time I let him play at the PlayPlace at McDonalds. Of course he loved it!

Cars with Uncle Preston

A favorite thing to do... walk around with a bucket on his head. He runs into everything and thinks it's hilarious!

I found this idea on Pinterest... I took an empty peanut container, cut some holes in the lid and bought some dollar store pom pom balls. He loves pushing them through the holes then emptying the container and doing it all over again. So cheap and way easy. It keeps him entertained for a while too :)

The other day I was wearing a bandana as a headband. Booker saw it and immediately called it a hat and wanted one too, so I obliged :) He wore most of the day haha.
