15 months :)

Well he's 15 months :) he's getting so big!

We went in for his well-check and doctor said he looks awesome and is doing really well.

Here's the stats:

Height- 31 1/2 inches (64%)

Weight- 25 pounds (61.4%)

Head size- 19.3 inches (92%)

He's starting to even out everywhere except his head is still really big, even though it doesn't look big! Weird.

He's really into cars, legos, and Mickey Mouse. He likes to read books with someone or by himself. He loves being outside anytime, anywhere, doing anything. He runs, climbs onto and off of the couches, tries to walk up and down the stairs, knocks on the doors, reaches the doorknobs but doesn't know how to turn them yet (thank goodness!!!), stacks stuff, sorts stuff into and then takes it out of buckets and boxes, loves getting tickled, scared, or given piggy back rides, and knows how to point to stuff, find stuff, and turn things on and off. 

He can recognize people in pictures and in real life because he is remembering them.

He's been talking a lot more too! He mostly still jabbers in his little high pitched baby talk or just squeals and screams in delight, but he is building a bigger vocabulary.

and sometimes he tries to say Booker

These are the words he says on a regular basis but he also will mimic pretty much anything we say to him or ask him to say. He's trying to say names and he's starting to learn some of his colors.

He also shakes his head no but hasn't put together what it means because he will shake his head no while saying yes to something haha. 

The only sentence I've head him say kinda is "I did it!"

Also with the whole mimicking thing, we have found we really have to be careful already with what we say. 

The other day Booker and I were playing and he dropped something. After looking at it on the ground for a minute he says, "Uh Shhhtt." Not the actual swear word but it really sounded like it. I figured out, after he said it over and over for the rest of the day, that he's saying Oh Shoot, because my mom and Kelsey say it all the time haha. 

But he's such a ham. He loves being cheesy and playful. He thinks sticking out his tongue or running away from the camera is how you take a picture (so all the pics I post are usually like that or actually once in a lifetime good pics lol). 

He's also become a lot more cuddly and affectionate. He will either give you "noggins," high-fives, blow you kisses, or give you kisses. He'll cuddle while watching his shows (Mickey Mouse) or while reading books. If I ask him for Loves he'll run over usually and give me a kiss. I love it!!!

 One day he found a plastic Easter egg in his toy bin. He opened it up and put half of it into his mouth, covering up his nose, and it was the funniest thing ever! He thought he was hilarious and ran around with it like that for a while.

 It rained really hard the other day so Troy put Booker's coat on him and let him run around outside for a bit. He LOVED it! It was the cutest thing ever watching him run around and squeal in delight.

 Since it's been so hot lately we went to the pool a few days ago. He's such a little fish because he loves the water and loves jumping off the side into the pool.

This kid is such a joy even with the business and attitude. He's started throwing tantrums and understands he's being naughty. He'll even ignore me sometimes. But he's so fun to have in our home and we love him more than anything. I will say he's a pretty spoiled boy and does get his way a lot but how could we resist such a face :)
