The first week of May, Booker and I started a Mommy-and-Me swim class at the Y. It's twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for four weeks.
He has always loved the bath tub so I figured he'd love the pool. The first day he was excited when he saw the water. Once we were in the water he was unsure for about a minute and then loved it the rest of class.
We sing songs, chase balls and rubber fish, kick our feet and blow bubbles. We've gone to four classes so far and if anything he's bored.
The second class he got bored and decided to just watch the other kids and then started falling asleep on my shoulder while still in the pool!

If I had let him he would have run into the pool and swam by himself, but that's why we're doing lessons haha! This kid will be living in a life jacket this summer I think.
It's been really fun and I really enjoy this time with him. I'll keep you posted on the rest of our swimming adventures :)
