Booker's Monster Mash Birthday Bash!

Booker had his first birthday party last Saturday! It was a lot of fun, probably more fun for me than him, and it went really well. 

I have to say an enormous thank you to my family who helped set up and put up with my last minute stress out haha. 

We had a nacho bar set up for lunch with monster bottles and cupcakes. 

We played Pin the Eye on the Monster and Feed the Monster bean bag toss. 

Booker opened his presents but was more interested in the tissue paper mostly.

We sang to Booker and watched as he destroyed his little cake, and then we all enjoyed the cute little cupcakes.

I'm pretty proud of how it turned out :)

Opening presents. He got a lot of cool toys and fun new clothes.

Cake time! It was funny because he wasn't too sure when we were singing to him and he was timid at first but once he realized it as cake inside all that frosting he dug right in! Pretty soon it was being flung EVERYWHERE and squished all over :) He enjoyed it I think.

As we were pulling the candle and tooth pick eyeballs out this was his face- Where did you take my cake!!?

"It's on my fingers Mommy."

I think he had fun playing and eating his cake. It was really cute and we had fun too. 

It's still hard to believe he's already a year!

I love this boy more than anything and I'm so extremely blessed to be his mother.
