Booker- 9 Months

Booker turned 9 months yesterday and has now officially been out of my tummy longer than he was in it haha!

He has grown so much this last month and continues to surprise us with new tricks, facial expressions, and interests. 

He can now clap, wave, blow raspberries, make giant spit bubbles, say Mama and Dada while meaning it, pick up things with his thumb and pointer finger, open the cupboards and drawers, pull the magnets off the fridge and put them back on, put things in and out of buckets and drawers, turn the pages of his board books, drink from a sippy cup, and he loves to eat crackers, bread, peas, pears, peaches, waffles, and cupcakes :)

Almost two weeks ago he took his first steps (5 at the most) and has been practicing everyday. He loves climbing the stairs and can practically run while holding onto the furniture. 

He will chew on anything and always seems to find the smallest pieces of things on the floor that we've missed. Today he almost ate a Box Elder bug that was crawling along the floor before I found him just as he was reaching to pick it up! So gross!

He laughs and giggles and is VERY ticklish! 

He loves going out and about and is always happier doing something away from home.

He likes to be right where we are and follows us around like a little puppy.

He's a happy boy and has just started giving hugs randomly while we're sitting hanging out.

Booker is a perfect addition to our home and we're so grateful he was sent to us. We love him more than anything else in this world and although he's busy I wouldn't want to be chasing anyone else :)

P.S. We have his 9 month check up in two weeks so I'll post growth updates then! Stay tuned :)
