Labor Day Weekend
This should have been posted awhile ago but I haven't gotten to it til now... oh well.
So we spent Labor Day weekend in Boise but the Wednesday before the weekend my parents drove down to Logan, picked Booker and me up, and we headed for Twin Falls to see my grandparents and great grandpa. Troy came to Boise on Friday to hang out once he had work off.
My great grandpa Moncur is Booker's one and only great great grandparent still alive on mine or Troy's side. We were able to take a five generation picture which was an amazing opportunity and wonderful memory to make.

I love this picture of Booker and me cuz of his little face!! So silly. We also got a picture of the Moncur/Blacker/Lewis men.
Booker with his great grandma and grandpa Blacker. He had some silly faces that day!
While we were in Boise, BYU played their first game of the season and we watched with Grammy and Grampy. Booker sported his BYU shirt and hung out with Cosmo.
It looks like Booker is eating Cosmo and doesn't like him, but really they were really good friends and they played all night.
I also love the pic of him reaching for the camera with the chubby face. He's like, "I see you camera. I'll get you!"
We also went to the Night Glow in Downtown to watch the hot air balloons one night. We had to wait for a bit for the thing to actually start but once the balloons were up and glowing it was pretty cool. Booker fell asleep so we wrapped him up in his stroller... Is that a burper on his head??? Yes it is. :)
Booker also got to try some ice cream in Boise! We were eating ice cream sandwiches at Grandma and Grandpa's house. After one lick, needless to say... He LOVED it!!! He kept lunging for my sandwich and eventually had it all over his face. He may have enjoyed it then but it gave him an awful diaper rash and very unpleasant diapers later. No more ice cream for a while :(

| One morning when we woke up I put socks on his ears. I don't know why I did but it was funny and he still looks adorable! Reminded us of Dolby. |

While we were there we also got Booker's portraits taken at Target. It was his first professional photo shoot and although he got a little freaked out by the ladies yelling at him to smile and look at the camera, we got some really cute pictures. We also went Downtown and visited Grampy at work and went to lunch a few times :) It's always nice to just hang out and do whatever you want.
Friday evening Preston had a cross country meet in Caldwell, which we got to go to. It was my first race of his I got to see and I was really excited. He did really well and looked really good out there! So proud of him!
Troy ended up meeting us out there and then we headed over to Sam and Shantay's house to watch the BSU game. Booker got to play with his cousins for a bit before they were all put to bed.
On Saturday Troy and I went to Roaring Springs with Preston, Kelsey, Megan (Kelsey's friend) and we met up with Sam and Shantay. It was really fun. I hadn't been there since middle school I think and it was nice to be in the sun.
We love Boise and love to go visit as often as we can. It will be really sad if we move super far away for Physical Therapy school and can't get there very much.
