6 Months!

I can't believe it's been six months since my wonderful little man was born. So much has happened and he's gotten so big!

Riding like a big boy at the grocery store. Lovin' it!!

Booker has been army crawling for quite awhile and I don't know if he'll actually crawl. He seems quite content scooting around because it gets him where he wants to go. He sits up really well but hasn't  sat himself up yet, except once in the bath tub...

He's starting to pull himself up on things. Usually me or Troy, cuz apparently I'm a jungle gym, or the stairs, which he has begun climbing! The other day he climbed the first two steps to the small landing and then began on the third, which is the first of the main staircase, before he got too tired. All by himself!!!
If we stand him in front of the couch he'll stand there forever just holding on with two hands and sometimes one. He's figuring out his balance really well.
He still loves his jumper roo and the bath tub, which he does laps in every night, and thinks the kitchen is the coolest place ever!

He always wants to eat our food and drink from our cups so I've given him a plastic cup that is specifically his that he plays with and practices drinking from, sometimes with water in it but usually empty. He holds it really well and has the motion of drinking down. I need to go find him a big boy cup soon.

He loves to play with his carseat but hates getting into it.

So serious.

He loves walks in the stroller and going out to get the mail.

He loves the air vents especially when the air is on. His hair is so poofy and it kinda blows in the wind haha.

He is never sitting or laying still for more than a minute and has to always be doing something or chewing on something. It is almost impossible to change his diaper by yourself. Usually it's a tag team effort and if I am by myself I have to make crazy, weird noises to distract him long enough to get the job done. 

I have found that the "Grudge" noise works the best. He'll just stare at me. Creepy but effective.

He loves playing in the mirror and tries to eat the baby in there or take the baby's bink and gets frustrated he can't get them.

This last week he's had a major cold with an ear infection so we've been extremely tired and grumpy. He's been taking Amoxicilin for his ear and his cold has been clearing up. We've done lots of hot showers and ran his Buzz Buzz (humidifier) all night and during naps. He's gotten happier the last day or two. Poor kid.

It doesn't help that his first little tooth has popped through!! The bottom front left. It's so cute and he looks so grown up now!

Some times he gets to play outside if it's not to cool and not too smokey. He got to feel the grass for the first time and would have been crawling all over it if there weren't so many pokey weeds in it. A new thing of his is to snort and breathe in and out of his nose really fast. He'll scrunch up his face and sometimes we can't tell if he's angry or happy. It's one of the funniest things I have ever seen and we laugh every time.

Booker is such a joy and blessing. We love him so very much and love each new day and the new discoveries it brings!!
