Booker's 4 Month Stats

So we finally had our 4 month check up and Booker's doing great! The doctor says he's growing very well and on a good track and seems ahead in motor skills and other milestone developments. 

Today Booker weighed in at 15 pounds 14 ounces- 62 percentile, 26 1/2 inches long- 89 percentile, and 17 inch head circumference- 68 percentile. His target weight is 17.6 pounds so he is at 90% for that, so he could get chubbier and be fine :) Pretty much he's super tall and skinny for his age group. The skinny we get but the tall? Where did that come from!!?? haha!

We've been given the OK to start cereals, fruits and veggies so we'll see how they go and what he likes.      

He also had his shots today which is never fun but he does really well with them. Of course he cries with the initial shock of the poke but when it's over he just likes to cuddle a lot more and is fussier during the day. All day yesterday and up until the shots I was so anxious and sad, just wanted them done with. Poor Little Man :(

But he's doing great and I swear he does something new everyday! He's scooting around the floor, pushing up onto his knees slightly, sitting by himself with his hands propped in front of him for a few minutes, and even standing at the couch by himself! We have to put him there but he'll stay that way for a few minutes until his legs get tired. It's so cute! He's getting so big! I'm going to have to proof our house this month I think!!!
