A Week in Boise

Last week, Booker and I went to Boise and spent time hanging out with the family. We stayed with my parents after we came home with my mom, Preston, and Kelsey from Salt Lake for Mike and Erika's wedding. It was convenient that we were able to ride back with them because the week we were in Boise, Troy was stuck in Logan working a 70 hour week. Booker and I wouldn't have seen him the entire week anyways so it was great timing.
We had so much fun hanging out and relaxing. It was nice for Booker to have more people to play with and cuddle. He liked reading books with Grampy and watching TV with the boys. Grammy got him some super cute cowboy jammies, which are pretty cool. My parents, Preston and Kelsey were enormous help and I really appreciate everything they did for me and Booker. Troy's mom and dad, Barb and Lonnie, also watched and spent time with Booker for an afternoon while I went to Snow White and the Huntsman with my mom. It was very nice of them to do that and I appreciate them too.
I got to see my sister-in-law, Shantay and my adorable nieces, Maya and Paityn as well when I went over to visit one morning. It's so fun to see the cousins together and interact with each other. It will be so much fun when Paityn, Amelia, and Booker are older to see what they do and how they play together.
My mom, Kelsey and I also hit up the mall and found some hilarious sunglasses at Claire's.
Uncle Preston had a fake mustache so we just had to he he
Getting pedicures
Snow cones before Preston got his wisdom teeth taken out
Delicious cupcakes we made!!! There will be a separate post just for them! :)
Kelsey and I painted our nails :) these were inspired by my cousin,  Linnae Bultez and her cute nails I saw earlier in the week.

Mustaches... need I say more??

I took Booker to the Beehive's mutual activity with my mom which was a pool party and let him go swimming for the first time... I think he liked it! It's pretty much just his bathtub but bigger!
And although we had a ton of fun in Boise for the week, I missed my hubby and Booker missed his Daddy. Troy was able to get off work Friday night and all day Saturday so he came to Boise for the weekend and to bring us home on Sunday.
It was also mine and Troy's 3rd Anniversary on Wednesday during the week we were gone so on Saturday Troy and I went to Boondocks to play mini golf, ride the go-carts, and spend some tokens. I beat Troy in a round of golf and he beat me in another, but I had two hole-in-ones and Troy had zero :) One of my hole-in-ones was by granny shot between the legs with a skirt on. Pretty impressive I must say. Troy also had a pretty impressive moment when he had to hit his first shot using his hand. It was pretty close but not close enough.

It was a really fun week and it could have only been better if Troy and Hayley could have been there with us.
