I can't believe my little man is one month old today! He has gotten so big and has grown out of a bunch of his clothes, it's crazy because he still seems so little!
This last week his umbilical cord finally fell out so we no longer have to do sponge baths, which he hated, and can now have big boy baths in the bath tub :)
He seems to enjoy his little tub and will just sit there and wiggle around.
Booker also slept in his crib for the first time this last week too. We still have him in our room at night but for naps we've put him in his own room a few times.
He looks so small in his big bed!
I think we're on our second growth spurt as well because he demands food all the time. Let's just say growth spurts are not my favorite.
Booker's starting to smile more and has been making more little noises and cooing sounds lately. He's just so much fun and we love just watching him and taking thousands of pics of him.
Here are a few...

For other news Troy had his 25th birthday on Saturday so we decided to head to the new City Creek Center mall in Salt Lake for the day. It was our first big venture out with Booker and he did great!! He wasn't too sure about the car ride at first but after a while he got used to it and fell asleep. He slept the whole time in his stroller except to wake up and let us know he was hungry and then slept the entire ride home. It was nice to get out of the house and out of Logan and have some time together as a little family. Troy also graduates in a few weeks which we are both very excited about. He is so ready to be done with school he can't stand it and I'm excited to have him home more.I'm starting to feel more myself again, which is sooooo nice! The soreness and pain from labor and the c-section is pretty much gone and I look more like how I did before being pregnant. It has definitely been a confidence booster to feel skinny and look skinny again :) Right now we're just enduring the end of the semester and the constant feedings trying to satisfy this growing boy. We're login' life though and can't wait to see what each day brings :) |
YAY! So happy to hear you are all doing well :) Seriously can't wait to see you!!!
