Kidney Stones= No Fun!!! :(
So the baby isn't even close to getting here and I've already stayed at the hospital!!
A few weeks ago we went to bed on a Monday but sleep was NOT what I did all night. I had been having serious back pain for a while and we just thought it was normal pregnancy stuff. All night I was tossing and turning as the pain continued to get worse and worse. By Tuesday morning around 6am I was throwing up from how bad it hurt. Troy had to go to class and while he was gone I threw up TEN TIMES in about fifteen minutes. I hadn't eaten or drank anything since Monday's dinner so throwing up nothing was the outcome. I decided I should probably call my doctor (while I was talking to her I threw up and she heard everything, so embarrassing!!!) and she told me to come into the hospital because I probably have kidney stones or something. I called up Troy, told him to "GET HOME RIGHT NOW" and we headed in around 830am. As soon as I got to my room I threw up 3 more times as Troy and my cute little nurse took turns holding a bucket or washing the nasty one out. They then started TRYING to get an IV into my arm, but since I was so dehydrated it took TWO different nurses a THOUSAND different tries in BOTH arms to find a vein. Finally after wrapping my arms in hot blankets and poking around for forever they got the IV and painkillers going.
Needless to say with the painkillers and m y exhaustion from not sleeping for almost 24 hours, I fell into a drugged sleep only to wake up when the morphine started wearing off. They even wheeled me down a floor to the radiologist for ultrasounds of the stones (which I remember happening) but apparently everyone got to see the baby except me because I was so out of it!!!! Troy said I just laid on the table and would occasionally turn my head to look at the screen but I don't even remember anyone saying anything about a b aby being up there haha! We stayed in the hospital waiting for the stupid stones to drop all of Tuesday, Tuesday night, and by Wednesday around 11am I had passed a few of them and was in good enough shape to go home with some prescriptions.
The rest of the week was spent sleeping and... sleeping, yep that's it. My mom and dad came to visit and took care of me while Troy was at work which I VERY MUCH appreciate!!! And although I was wiped out and a little sore from so much throwing up, everything went back to normal and baby and I are perfectly fine and healthy again :)
Oh and they kept telling me if I could survive kidney stone pain that long without painkillers then labor and delivery is gonna be a breeze!!! All I have to say then is..... BRING IT ON!! :)

My poor babies. I am so thankful dad and i were able to come down, It was killing me that we couldn't get there sooner but I know that Troy was taking good care of you. Thank goodness for fasting, prayers and Priesthood blessings. So glad you're ok. :)
